About We Remember You

Supporting family caregivers with
compassion, education, and community.

How We Support Caregivers

The mission of We Remember You is to provide holistic and all-encompassing support and education to family caregivers and their person living with any dementia-causing condition and to educate the community in any issue related to dementia/Alzheimer's and caregiving.

Support
Groups

Caring for someone with dementia can feel isolating, but you don’t have to walk the journey alone. Our support groups provide a welcoming space where caregivers can share experiences, receive encouragement, and connect with others who truly understand the challenges of dementia caregiving.

One-on-One
Guidance

Every caregiving journey is different. Whether you’re facing a recent diagnosis, navigating difficult behaviors, or simply looking for trusted guidance, we’re here to listen, answer questions, and connect you with resources that meet your family’s unique needs.

Education &
Resources

Understanding dementia can help you care for your loved one with greater confidence. We provide educational programs, trusted resources, and practical strategies that empower caregivers to navigate changing needs while caring for themselves along the way.

Community & Encouragement

Caregivers deserve more than information—they deserve community. Through events, partnerships, and meaningful relationships, we create opportunities for caregivers to find friendship, encouragement, and hope throughout their caregiving journey.

Lee Ann Hyatt

Executive Director, RN, BSN

Lee Ann returned to Tennessee after a long career in Houston, Texas, as a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from San Jose State University in California. Early in her career, she served in a variety of hospice and end-of-life care roles, with a primary focus on community and professional education.

As her career progressed, she expanded her expertise into dementia and Alzheimer’s care. After returning to Tennessee, she served as Director of the Alzheimer’s Caregiver Relief Program of Bedford County. Recognizing the growing need for caregiver support in Rutherford County, and with the encouragement of her beloved First United Methodist Church Murfreesboro, she founded We Remember You. She is certified in Alzheimer’s care by the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America and serves as a volunteer community educator and support group facilitator for the Alzheimer’s Association, where she is also certified as a Care Partner.

Throughout her career, Lee Ann has delivered educational presentations on senior health, Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, and end-of-life care. She has spoken to both community and professional audiences and has developed and presented state-approved continuing education programs for nurses and social workers.

Terry Harmon

Administrative Assistant

After spending most of her life in Arizona, Terry moved to Murfreesboro in 2025, to be near her Tennessee family, and enjoy the beauty of middle Tennessee’s four seasons.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University in Business Administration with emphasis in Management and Accounting.  Terry spent her career in various roles including Accounting, Financial Analysis, Marketing, Purchasing and Product Management.  One of her favorite positions was as a Department Assistant, supporting 5 Product Managers and managing a Marketing program involving over 200 vendors.

After retiring from full-time work in 2024, Terry wanted to find a way to help others and support an organization who provides meaningful services to the community. She looks forward to getting to know the Caregivers as they participate in our program!

Terry has parents, one daughter and son-in-law in Arizona, who she stays in close touch with. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with nearby family, playing and reading with the young ones, walking and yoga, cooking, and exploring the greenways and restaurants with friends.
